What is the format of the tournament?

The NATIONS CUP is a mixed volleyball tournament in 4+2 format (each team always has 4 male and 2 female players on the court). The tournament has the Amateur status, so professional players with valid paid contracts with volleyball clubs cannot take part in the tournament. The main rule of participation is «one country – one team» (exception - Russian teams, which represented by Russia team and separately Novosibirsk region team.)
